EDITION mixing up a ‘brew-ha-ha’

If you haven't had an opportunity yet to visit the Lobby Bar at the EDITION Waikiki, now's your chance.

Sure, the EDITION's private "beach" is a pretty cool feature, and enjoying a cocktail or three out by the hotel's pool is definitely a nice way to spend pau hana. But the hotel's Lobby Bar is an excellent example of an unobtrusive room that's comfortable and welcoming, with quality bartenders serving up great drinks.

On Thursday, one of the EDITION's "star-tenders," master mixologist Christian Self (pictured), will be on duty at the Lobby Bar helping to host a specialty beer cocktails and food pairing from 4 to 9 p.m. The hotel has partnered with Singha Beer to showcase that brew in drinks mixed with ingredients like lychee, Amaretto and Bloody Mary mix.

Want to make a night of it? Come back to the EDITION on Saturday and visit Crazybox for a special full moon celebration with a live art installation by Vane Russo. The party will start around 10 p.m.
