3660 hosts casting call for 'Bachelor,' 'Bachelorette'
Hawaii residents looking for true love — and who are willing to get in front of television cameras to search for it — are invited to take part in a casting call for two ABC reality shows on July 28.
Local ABC affiliate KITV and radio station 102.7 Da Bomb will host a public search from 4 to 8 p.m. July 28 at 3660 on the Rise in Kaimuki in hopes of finding the next stars of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.”
According to the network, each of the shows features “one lucky man or one lucky woman (who) is given the opportunity to find their soulmate among a pool of candidates.” Producers will look for the “enthusiasm, playfulness, sparkle and passion” necessary to be the center of attention and become “America’s next leading lady or leading man.”
“The Bachelor” first aired on ABC in 2002 and is hosted by Chris Harrison. No word if he’ll be in town for the casting call, but it’s unlikely.
